Death Note

Raito Yagami is a top honor student in his last year of high school. He is popular with the girls and has the respects of his peers. His father is the city's police chief, and Raito has in numerous occasions helped his father solve crime mysteries that have baffled even the experts. Some call Raito a genius, and everyone expects great things from young Raito in the future.

But in truth, Raito is bored out of his mind. Although he acts kind and sympathetic on the outside, he really views those around him as inferior beings since they can't possibly match his intellect. Raito is also quite an egomaniac, he believes that since he is a genius he can't be wrong. He has developed a warped sense of justice and has little regard for other people's lives, even those of his own family.

One fateful day, Raito Yagami discovers a black notebook with the words Death Note written on the cover. In it, written in English, were the following instructions:
The human whose name is written in this note shall die.

This note will not take effect unless the writer has the subject's face in their mind when writing his/her name.

Therefore, people sharing the same name will not be affected.

If the cause of death is written within 40 seconds of writing the subject's name, it will happen.

If the cause of death is not specified, the subject will simply die of heart attack.

After writing the cause of death, the details of the death should be written in the next 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

Yugi and his friends are in awe of his grandpa's collection of Duel Monstercards, but when #1 ranked Duelist and ruthless tycoon Kaiba kidnaps grandpato get the rare Blue Eyes White Dragon card, Yugi must face Kaiba in theUltimate Duel Monsters showdown and avenge his gramps!

The Gauntlet is Thrown
Yugi and friends take a break from honing their card playing skills to watch Weevil and Rex Raptor compete in the Duel Monsters Regional Championship. When Yugi opens a package from Duel Monsters creator, Maximillion Pegasus, Yugi is forced to face him in the mysterious Shadow Realm where all the monsters and magic are real. Yugi loses, and Pegasus claims grandpa's soul as his prize. Yugi must travel to the Duelist Kingdom and Pegasus' tournament if he is ever to see his grandpa again.

Journey To The Duelist Kingdom
Yugi gives up one of his own star chips so Joey can board the boat bound for the Duelist Kingdom and duel to save his sister's eyesight. Meanwhile, Tea and Tristan stowaway to join their friends. But when word spreads that Yugi was the one who defeated World Champion Kaiba, the cheat Weevil tries to cripple Yugi's deck by tossing his best cards overboard just as they reach the island.

Princess Mononoke

After his village is attacked by a possessed boar, Ashitaka finds himself inflicted by a curse that threatens to spread throughout his entire body. The village elders suggest that he travel west where rumours are abound of a Deer God who is capable of curing all. On his travels, Ashitaka seeks shelter at a village of iron miners where he discovers a furious battle is underway between the humans and the animals. The animals are led by Princess Mononoke, a human girl raised by Wolves, who is adamant to keep her new family safe whilst the humans are really only attempting to do the same. Ashitaka does his utmost to cool the feud but he must also concentrate on removing his curse, a task becoming increasingly difficult as a group of hunters look to find the Deer God for their own purposes.

Tragedy in the Hidden Village
A ninja from the Hiruko steals the Dragon Stone from the Hiruko Clan, and a huge clan fight over the stone ensues. Ninja hero Jubei interrupts the fight to take the jewel and, after a dying man asks him, accepts the task of delivering it to Shigure -the Priestess of Light.
